Our Mission Statement
The Virginia Lutheran Men in Mission has been formed as a fellowship of Christian men in the Virginia Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, in order that they come together to build disciples to become ambassadors for Christ, so that men bonding as individuals and groups, are challenged to present:
CHRIST IN OUR LIVES
CHRIST IN OUR HOMES
CHRIST IN OUR COMMUNITY
CHRIST IN OUR WORLD
OUR PURPOSE
The purpose of VaLMM is to minister to the men of the congregation in order to strengthen their commitment to discipleship [Mathew 28:19] The ministering process includes:
V Bible study and worship as men of the church, in an atmosphere of trust, openness (sharing), support and fellowship, with men of like minds, interest, beliefs, who they trust for support, in their walk with the Lord [John 6:31].
V Actively supporting the mission of the Virginia Synod of the ELCA.
